When we set out to build our dream home at River Run, we knew we wanted to include a couple of upscale rental units. The result is Three Buck Inn; a cross between a mountain cabin and a four-star hotel.

We think you will love the location as much as we do. All winter and summer activities are within five miles and restaurants are just a short walk. There is also a pool, hot tub, and tennis court on the property and the Truckee River offers fishing, hiking, and rafting just outside the door.

Every aspect of the rooms, including the tile, carpet, furniture and accessories have been carefully selected to create the perfect lodge-style retreat. The rooms are cozy, but still feel spacious. We call it a mountain luxury suite.

Whether you plan to play all day or just cozy up to the fire, we hope Three Buck Inn will feel like your home away from home.

Three Buck Inn Riverfront Suites

The newest addition to Three Buck Inn raises the standard in luxury dog friendly lodging. Located directly on the Truckee River, these one bedroom suites feature vaulted ceilings, river-rock fireplaces, and private decks over the river. Each suite has been professionally decorated to create the upscale mountain lodge ambiance. We must warn you… staying here may tempt you into moving permanently to Lake Tahoe.

The much-loved Three Buck Inn original is still a favorite among people and their dogs. Every detail of the room was carefully selected to ensure you and your dogs’ complete comfort. The rooms are cozy, but still feel spacious.. The only problem is that the rooms are so comfortable...many of our guests never leave the room.
