 You will love the location of Three Buck Inn. We are located on the Truckee
River, just 3.5 miles from downtown Tahoe City and 10 miles from Truckee. All
winter and summer activities are within five miles and restaurants are just a
short walk. You can also enjoy the year-round hot tub, summertime pool, and
tennis courts on the property or go for a nice hike on one of the many nearby
trails. Fishing, biking, roller-blading, rafting, and strolling are just outside
your door. The only problem is that we made the rooms so nice, many of our
guests never end up leaving their room.

DIRECTIONS: From San Francisco: (about 3 to 4 hours) Take Interstate 80 East
towards Sacramento. In Sacramento, continue on I 80 towards North Lake Tahoe.
Take the second Truckee exit, Highway 89 South towards Tahoe City. 10 miles down
Highway 89 is Alpine Meadows Road. Turn right onto Alpine Meadows Road and take
a quick left after the river into the first road. Turn left again into the River
Run development. If you see a “slow 5 MPH” sign on your right...you are in the
correct development.
