Responsibilities
- Developed and maintained diagnostic software for TI’s DX990 product line used in R&D, manufacturing, and field service.
- Authored functional and design specifications, coded in 990 Assembly and Rifle Pascal, and managed releases through QA and deployment.
- Worked cross‑functionally with hardware engineers, product managers, and field service teams to validate new designs and improve maintainability.
Accomplishments
- Designed the first OS‑independent diagnostic framework for TI mini‑computers.
- Produced TI’s first zero‑defect diagnostic release.
- Led development of the asynchronous communications ISO/OSI module for the DX990 platform.
- Mentored junior programmers and coordinated multi‑department release efforts.
