Responsibilities

• Designed and developed commercial websites and e-commerce solutions for small businesses.
• Created and launched a high-traffic Lake Tahoe business and tourism web portal.
• Mentored web designers and coordinated client site integrations.

Accomplishments

• Launched Tahoe’s Best portal (20M hits in 2000; 150k impressions/month).
• Integrated mortgage and remote CGI tools; defined ISP requirements; customer training and Windows support.
• Launched the first commercial online e-commerce store in the Lake Tahoe area. Leveraged the rise of 56 K modems, configuring a Windows NT workstation as a web server using O’Reilly’s WebSite Professional (later Deerfield) and iHtml Merchant, connected to the Internet via a 128 K ISDN line.
